My Background
I am a bilingual-bicultural (English-Spanish) clinician with 30 years of training and experience, which includes a doctorate in clinical psychology from St. John’s University, followed by rigorous training at major hospitals and mental health clinics in New York City. For over 20 years I have supervised and taught masters, doctoral and post-graduate students. After completing postgraduate psychoanalytic training I was certified in psychoanalysis at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis (AIP). I am a training and supervising analyst of the AIP where I teach and supervise psychotherapists and future psychoanalysts as a faculty member.
